As I make the resolve to start the New Year with a new me, nothing happens over night. That little bulge or bump will take more that one week of doing my new Rock Stepper. Sometimes you can get away with a good camouflage job but if you are wearing the new materials that designers are using for golf clothing these days nothing can hide the bra bugle or muffin top. I have found that I have been purchasing my tops a size larger just to hide this unsightly look. A bigger top is not the answer. More fabric only lends to the appearance of a bigger person not a fashion statement. Working towards a healthier and muffin top-less person, I have found a great way to look thinner, smoother without purchasing a bigger garment. In my younger days, my mother always had what was called a long line undergarment. Back in the day, no woman was without this item. But back then they were hard to wear, confining, and looked like the cones of silence across your chest.
Now in 2009, you can purchase a product that is based on a long line undergarment but it easy to wear, there is no rolling on the bottom and they are relativity inexpensive. My product of choice is the “Unbelievable Comfort” made by Naomi & Nicole. This is sold at Macy’s for around $35.00 but when they have a sale it is about $25.00. I am in no way affiliated with this company. My opinion is this product provides a longer, smooth look. It has a “wonder edge” that does not roll up during the day or evening. Back in the 90’s I had purchased some of this type of undergarment for those clingy dresses that were popular but my biggest complaint was the rolling up of the edge. There is nothing worse then having to tug down your undergarments.
When using the “Unbelievable Comfort” just step into the garment and pull it up. Put the “wonder edge” next to your skin. You will have to adjust yourself once you have it on but after you are in it, it never moves. I love the way it makes me look in golf tops, work attire or even going out dancing. I have played golf in this and there is nothing to impede your swing. I have danced the night away with this on and I just love it!
No matter what your size is sometimes it just takes one thing to make you feel pretty. Mine is this undergarment. During 2009 make time for yourself and find that one item that makes you feel pretty.
